The Lakes at Red Rock Homeowners Association, Inc.

We are a friendly neighborhood located in historic Leesburg with wonderful neighbors that make this a great place to call HOME. Families of all ages share in the recreational amenities that are unique to "Red Rocks."

From fishing in our spring-fed lake to our jogging/biking trails, swimming pool, pool house, tennis courts, and tot lots - it is clear that this is an extraordinary community that embraces the great outdoors.

Our neighborhood has great social activities that offer something for everyone. Some of the events so far have been the Patriotic Pool Party, Children's Egg Hunt and Holiday Party, the Annual Community Yard Sale and our famous "Neighborhood Night Out" at local taverns. These events are a great way for everyone to meet their neighbors and to make new friends.

Christopher Beck was elected to the HOA Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting on May 27th. The Board members and their positions for the 2009-2010 year are: President: Robert Hosea, VP: Todd Tolbert, Treasurer: Ray Baldwin, Secretary: Sola Pallotta, Board Member: Chris Beck. We encourage homeowners to send us their suggestions, questions and concerns via e-mail via e-mail.

Pool Pass Info Applications for pool passes and/or year stickers were mailed to all homeowners, along with the annual meeting letter. Have you fax it in yet? If yes, please see the lifeguards to pick up your passes and/or year stickers (inside an envelope) from the “pool pass file box.” If not, please download and fill out the pool pass application and fax it to the number on the form OR drop your completed form into the “pool pass file box.”

2009 Swim Team Information for on the
Red Rockets home page has been updated.

Please Do Not Disturb the Rocks!
Please remind your children NOT to move the rocks (or walk on the rocks) that are along the banks near the fair weather crossing. These rocks were placed there to control erosion. It has been reported that kids are picking up the rocks and throwing them into the stream and lake. Also walking and/or climbing on the rocks is prohibited for safety reasons. Thanks for your help in protecting our kids!

Seeking Volunteers!
We are looking for residents to volunteer in the neighborhood. Some of the committees seeking volunteers are listed below.

Neighborhood Watch Committee: We need residents to help out in order to have a NW committee. We are currently looking for someone to volunteer as NW Chair. Please send an email to NW@lakesatredrock.com if you would like to help and/or to learn more. The NW meetings on the third Tuesday of the month are on hold until we can find some people to help out.

Social Activities Committee:
Kirsten Tolbert is the chair for the Social Committee. She can always use more committee members to help with the planning and hosting of neighborhood social events. You could help out with one party or several parties, it's up to you as to how involved you want to get. Please send an email to the Social Committee, to let Kirsten know how you would like to help. Grounds Committee: Got a green thumb? We need volunteers to join the grounds committee. Please email the Grounds Committee to let us know you are willing to help. The Grounds Committee plans to hold meetings on the first Thursday of the month, once we get some volunteers. Whenever a meeting is scheduled, it will be posted on calendar page.

Neighborhood Reminders...

Residents must clean up after their dogs - this is also a Loudoun County Law!
Please secure your trash on garbage/recycle days in order to prevent the wind from spreading it around our neighborhood and into our lake.
Also trash cans and recycle bins must be removed from the street and out of sight at the end of each collection day.
Please ensure that your lampposts are working properly.
Basketball backboards are not allowed to be left in the streets.
Commercial vehicles are not allowed to be parked overnight in driveways and on streets in the community.
Do NOT climb or walk on the dam or rocks near the red bridge. All activities on the dam and rocks are prohibited for safety reasons.
SLOW down! Please remember we have lots of kids in our community.
